Description
The Dräger Alcotest 7000 sets new standards in alcohol test devices. Its benefits include a wider temperature and measuring range, lower maintenance requirements, and various networking options. In addition, the device can perform alcohol tests via both a mouthpiece and a funnel. Reliable alcohol tests are fast, simple, hygienic and efficient.
    Benefits of Alcotest 7000
Exceptional measurement stability
The Dräger Alcotest 7000 requires an accuracy check only once per year due to its exceptional measurement
stability. In comparison, many alcohol testing devices recommend adjustments every six months.
Two measurement methods in one device
The Dräger Alcotest 7000 allows users to quickly and efficiently conduct a large number of alcohol tests using a
funnel attachment in addition to the traditional mouthpiece method. This saves time, is cost-effective, and promotes
hygienic testing practices. The funnel test provides a preliminary indication of the presence of alcohol in the
subject’s breath, and if alcohol is detected, the user can switch to the mouthpiece-based test to accurately
determine the alcohol concentration in the subject’s breath.
 Wide temperature range
With the Alcotest 7000 you can take reliable measurements even in extreme temperatures. The alcohol tester’s
patented heating system and high-quality materials ensure dependable results in temperatures ranging from 14°F
 to 131°F.
 Network-connected solutions
The Dräger Alcotest 7000 is equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy technology, which allows for energy-efficient
digital connectivity and data transfer. This feature has several advantages, such as the ability to wirelessly connect
the device to the Dräger BT Mobile Printer and print test results from a distance of up to 48 feet.
The “Dräger add” software solution offers location mapping and on-site digitization of personal data and test
 results.
Dräger’s Service Connect software enables you to download measurement data and much more. You can also
connect the Dräger Alcotest 7000 directly to a computer with a USB-C cable to read out just the test results.
 High alcohol-detection limits
The Dräger Alcotest 7000 is capable of measuring a wide range of blood alcohol concentrations, with a maximum
limit of 0.63‰ BrAC. If the measurement exceeds this limit, the device will display a notification. This increased
performance capacity helps to ensure accurate and reliable test results on high alcohol concentrations.
 The Alcotest Hygiene Plus
Hygiene is an increasingly important part of our everyday lives. Dräger Alcotest breath-alcohol detection devices
use non-invasive measuring technologies with a high degree of hygiene – for the user as well as the test subject
 thanks to the following features:
 • During testing the exhaled air is directed past rather than through the device
 • There is a 90° angle between the user and the test subject during testing – keeping the user safely away from the
 exhaled air
 • Disposable mouthpieces and funnel attachments are individually packaged
 • Benefits of the Slide ’n’ Click mouthpieces:
 • safe, hygienic distance between user and test subject
 • spacer prevents direct contact between lips and device
 • mouthpiece is easy to remove
 • the one-way non-return valve prevents inhalation of air through the mouthpiece
 • Benefits of the replaceable funnel attachment:
 • no body contact with the test subject
 • blocks backflow of the test subject’s own exhaled air, which prevents intake of potential pathogens from
 previous test subjects
