EVT and EV2 fresh water cooled resistor

A line of fresh water cooled resistors for low and medium voltage applications, especially suitable as braking resistor for automotive industry, marine systems like winches and cranes, propulsion drives and cable laying vessels. Other usage is vehicle heating applications and as load banks. Patented design that encapsulates and totally separates the resistor elements from the coolant. Advanced materials ensure high performance and reliability. A compact format in combination with low weight results in very high power density – 10kW/kg. The EV2 range has been successfully vibration tested to automotive vibration specifications.

High ingress protection, IP56 makes it possible to install EV2 without using an enclosure.

Sea water cooled resistors

Sea water cooled resistors with titanium-sheathed elements in higher-grade stainless steel vessel. Most common usage is as braking resistor for marine propulsion systems.
