Description
Pulsar 7000 (Open Path) with Infrared absorption spectroscopy technology
The Pulsar 7000 Series detects a wide range of gaseous hydrocarbons. These include methane, propane, and ethylene. An accumulation of these gases in critical concentration can be measured at a distance of up to 200 meters within two seconds. ServeGas provides The Draeger Pulsar 7000 Series gas detectors in Qatar and Doha, which are stationary open path detectors. They are capable of detecting explosive hydrocarbons in gases. The Draeger Pulsar 7000 Series is a solid solution for your requirements in the oil and gas industry, as well as the chemical industry, due to its sturdy design and incredibly fast sensor response.
The durable design includes one-man installation and alignment tools, as well as rapid sensor response and internal lens heating. With a self-test, beam blockage indication, and status LED, it is fail-safe and reliable, making it suited for the roughest environments. Flexible configuration allows you to choose gas categories and customize LEL configuration, while intrinsically safe HHT connections make commissioning, maintenance, and configuration in hazardous places easier. For your industry’s needs, rely on the Draeger Pulsar 7000 Series.
Benefits of Pulsar 7000
Can function in foggy weather
Reliability is guaranteed not just under excellent weather conditions. For fog, mist, heavy rain, or snow, the Pulsar 7000 Series offers a mode with increased flash rate and light intensity. As a result, increased IR absorption induced by environmental conditions is compensated for. Furthermore, the heated optics prevent condensate or frost from developing on the lens.
Easy installation and alignment
The alignment of the transmitter and receiver, as well as the subsequent commissioning of the system, can be accomplished by a single person without the use of an additional telescope or alignment mirror. After an initial rough alignment by eye, the transmitter and receiver are precisely aligned using fine adjustment screws and a handheld terminal. The alignment is displayed in either a coordinate system with target optics or as numeric coordinates.
Variety of models
The Pulsar 7000 Series has models to meet a wide range of applications. Offshore models include stainless steel junction boxes and cable glands. This makes them exceptionally strong and resistant to harsh environmental conditions. The duct mount model can be used to detect gas buildup in supply or exhaust ducts. The system is intended for shaft installations only.
